Unbeknownst to her, her father Nathan is one of Geneco's most feared Repo Men, tasked with repossessing unpaid organs from those who cannot afford to pay for their medical procedures.

Shilo's life takes a dramatic turn when she discovers the truth about her mother's death and her father's profession. Nathan had married Marnie, the former lover of Rotti Largo, and had kept his true identity as a Repo Man hidden from her. He told Shilo that her mother was ill and passed away to protect her from the harsh reality of his work.

As Shilo struggles to come to terms with this revelation, she becomes increasingly isolated and withdrawn.
